I take the subway to work and home again every day. Using my native New Yorker secret strategies I usually get a seat both ways which means I can read at least 30 minutes each morning and afternoon. I have a special selection of books I can read in 30 minutes segments.
I'm currently reading From Potter's Field by Patricia Cornwell. Definitely a 30 minutes at a bite book. But a good subway read.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat, "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

NORMAN BORLAUG: One of only 3 living American Nobel Peace Prize winners, famine preventing plant breeder for the Third World and almost unknown to anyone in the United States. Yes, another one of those politically incorrect heroes.
I put up a link to a fascinating article about Norman Borlaug. Well worth reading. Then think about it. Then worry about it.

Penn & Teller - Masters of Disillusionment
They're absolutely brilliant.
I've added a link to the page of their website where you can view some clips from their show Bullshit.
They're witty, they're intelligent, they're skeptical and they're big fans of debunking some of the biggest of our current icons.
